MAD HONEY
lyrics & music by Grant King
Remastered from a cassette recording of my November 30, 1997 concert at A Different Light Bookstore in NYC.
Inspired by the article* my friend John Kirby showed me about the Greek commander Xenophon. His army was incapacitated by the psychotropic effects of honey produced by bees that ingested the nectar of Rhododendron ponticum.
