Remastered from a video recording of a January 25, 1997 concert at Franny’s, Philadelphia, PA.

A friend once urged me, “you need to write some angry songs to balance the love songs in your repertoire!” (Thanks, Pat Hildebrand!) This thwarted love story afforded the perfect opportunity to do so.

I especially enjoyed singing this with Dan Martin on piano at Franny’s.
