“Wonderfully romantic and utterly hopeful...A collection of songs that are as vibrant and accessible as they are mindful of King's musical lineage.” —Billboard
“A hopeless romantic with a healthy dose of cynic thrown in for balance...his guitar playing is clear and crisp next to the warm honey of his voice.” —Provincetown Banner
Released in 2000 in CD format only, “Bodies Of Water,” under the expert direction of producer Dan Martin was sparer and even more intimate than “Let Love Out.” Nonetheless, the title track features a large musical chorus and set of musicians, many of whom appeared live at the Brooklyn Museum of Art on April 6, 2001 as the closing number of a gala benefit for the Brooklyn Arts Exchange: Dave Brown, Tanya Bosak, Robin Burdulis, Corinne Curcio, KJ Denhert, Amy Fix, Sam Fenster, Tom McCormack, Michael Biello, Dan Martin, Rob Meador, Tom McGrath, Michelle WIlliams, Rita Silva, Aimee Simms, Jeanne Koren, Deian McBryde, Elliot Pilshaw, Janiece Thompson, Laura Wetzler, and Zenobia Conkerite.
